Hem

Just a quick sketch of Hem from the Books of Pellinor. My drawing's improved, and I quite like it. He looks a little mature, though... I think it's the extra shading on the neck.

Spent about 1 1/2 hours drawing and 2 hours editing on computer. Used pencil and pencil crayon, outlined the edges in black pen, scanned, smoothed with 'smudge' tool in gimp, added a background (a lovely free paper texture that can be found here [link]), some text (font is Scriptina), and a border, and voila. Hope you like it!
