As one can see, I've started a new set of ten drawings-- the main characters from my story! And, futhermore, the drawings are actually decent!

Although I would love to go into detail about all the characters, their roles, their personalities, and so on, there are unfortunately a select few people out there who would be glad to thoughtlessly steal all my ideas since they can't write themselves. I'm sure they'll have stolen quite a few other young writers' planned novels already! So, sadly, it's a case of the one kid who acts up and lands the class a detention-- although I'm sure most readers wouldn't be particularly excited about my story anyways. *sigh* They don't know what they're missing.

So far I've finished:

*Aelika. Since she's my favourite, she naturally comes first. I think that she's especially well done, too, although I'm sure she would have enjoyed being drawn even more so when she wasn't doing fire magic. [Skilled fire mages wear very little, because the more advanced they are, the hotter their fire is. Aelika has been training for a very long time and thus has to look like a bit of a slut, something she hates with a passion.]

*Cenn. He looks awfully chipper, if not a bit cocky. While I'm quite upset about how his spear and the hand holding it turned out, the rest of him is quite good, minus perhaps his eyes. I think they're a little too far apart.

The next in line are:

-Arric, at the demand of eirin. I was up all night colouring him, but have yet to scan him. It was neat, though, because I drew him when he was younger and still a little runty, with freckles and acne and shorter hair. Usually I draw him when he's older, and more handsome, but seeing as he dislikes it when he begins to look good because people start to notice him more, I thought I'd do him a favour and draw him before all that.

-Berry, because I just love how he turned out. One of his eyes is a little off but he, too, is coloured in. Berry is always fun to draw because he's always very stylish, so I get to have fun with his clothing, something that is often reserved for girls. This isn't to say that Berry is a crossdresser, however! Aside from this, I also enjoy drawing him because he looks quite different from the other characters. His hair's a dark brown and his skin's just a bit lighter, and his eyes are green. Quite a cute combo, if I do say so myself.

-Teba, because the drawing I've done is my first ever of her and she looks exactly like she was supposed to. I was sure I was gonna mess up a few times before I got her right, but it looks as if she decided to cooperate instead. Her armour is great too.

-Cedrik, because he's simply adorable, even if he's unbelievably skinny. Blame those darned Pyrrhs. My friends all say that Aelika is the best, but I hold that the drawing of Cedrik (which, like all the others listed so far, is coloured and simply waiting to be scanned) is the most well-done and also the most representative of the character's personality. Besides, he's got nice boots.

-Apollo. There's nothing special about him, and although he's also been coloured, I think I may redo him, just because the drawing doesn't have a special... Apollo-ness. It's really quite elusive, as opposed to Aelika-ness, which is easily achieved with a simple smirk. But we'll see. Perhaps my high expectations will have dropped when the time comes to either draw a new Apollo or scan the old one.

Other than this, I'm still figuring out the order. I've started Leuna-- she's just about to be outlined, but there's no colour yet-- but Thyrbond and Flora haven't even made it onto paper yet.

Still, I am super excited about finishing all these drawings. It's time all the Thallans were rolled together into one big set of drawings, and it looks as if I've got the commitment to keep them all coming 'till they're done. Wish me luck!
